Lexicor is software for law firms. It is made by Coach OS LLC, which is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.

No attorney-client relationship

Calling a firm's intake line, speaking with it, or having a call recorded into Lexicor does not create an attorney-client relationship with the firm or with Coach OS LLC. That relationship begins only when an attorney at the firm agrees to represent the caller. The intake line collects information for the firm's attorneys to review; it does not advise callers.

Dates are for verification, not legal advice

Lexicor lists candidate dates — for example, limitations periods, notice windows and response deadlines — drawn from dates spoken on a call and a table of cited rules. Every one is labelled Verify this date. They are calendar prompts for an attorney. They are not legal advice and not a calculation of any deadline: the correct date can depend on facts the call did not capture, on tolling, on notice statutes, on who the defendant is, and on changes in the law. The attorney decides every date.

Drafting disclaimer

Summaries, party lists, conflict flags, qualification notes and next actions in a matter file are drafts prepared from the call for an attorney's review. They may be incomplete or wrong. Lexicor never declines a matter on its own; an attorney clears or confirms each conflict flag and decides whether to take the matter.

Not a substitute for professional judgment

The firm remains responsible for its professional and ethical obligations, including conflicts of interest, confidentiality and client intake rules in its jurisdiction.
